Koks-Mining, a Limited Liability Company, was founded in 2011 in order to ensure the holding's own raw coal base. Presently, this unit includes TsOF Berezovskaya Central Processing Plant; the “Uchastok Koksovy” surface mine and two mine shafts, the “Vladimirskaya” and the “Romanovskaya-1” have been commissioned. Two more shafts are under construction: “Butovskaya” and the “S.D. Tikhov”.
Founded in 1969, the Beryozovskaya Coal Processing Plant is one of the oldest coal-industry enterprises in the Kemerovo Region. It produces coal concentrate from coal extracted from the Group's mines. Koks has renovated the plant after acquiring it. It is located in the city of Beryozovsky, located 45 kilometers north of the city of Kemerovo.
“Uchastok Koksovy” produces coking coal at the deposit of the former Vakhrushevskaya mine in the Prokopievsko-Kiselyovsky coal basin. Its license is valid until 2010.
The Vladimirskaya Mine. The mine is located in the central area of the Kemerovo Geological Region of the Kuzbass Basin, 30 kilometers north of the city of Kemerovo. The mine was commissioned in 2005. In February 2010, the Group also obtained a license to develop the Vladimirskaya-2 Mine using the same infrastructure as that used at the Vladimirskaya Mine.
The Romanovskaya-1 Mine. The mine is located in the northern area of the Kemerovo Geological Region of the Kuzbass Basin. The mine was commissioned in 2007.
The Butovskaya Mine will produce coking coal in the Chesnokovsky region of the Kemerovo Coal Deposit. “Koks” hold the license for this mine, which is currently under construction.
The Tikhov Mine will produce scarce “Zh” grade coking coal, of which there is a critical shortfall on the Russian market. The mine is located in the city of Leninsk-Kuznetsky at the Nikitinsky Coal Deposit.
