Social responsibility is the essential part of our business. All of our enterprises take it into account as one of the effective means of their long term sustainable growth. They take care of the society in the cities of their location by means of different charity projects including residential and infrastructural construction, financial support of veterans, churches, sports, cultural and educational organizations, , hospitals and orphan houses and hospices.
The salary level at the enterprises of Industrial Metallurgical Holding is considered to be the highest in the regions where they are situated. The priority objective in the area of social responsibility of the Holding’s enterprises is constant improving of the work and life conditions and wages of its workers.
The other priority development area is cooperation with local universities, institutes and colleges to secure qualitative education of young specialists who decided to begin their professional life at the enterprises of Industrial Metallurgical Holding. IMH enterprises have different educational grants and programs for its potential workers.
In 2004 Industrial Metallurgical Holding and the government of Kemerovo region signed an agreement of social and economic cooperation which is a traditional event. All of our enterprises have similar agreements signed with the local governments on a regular basis.
OAO Koks is implementing a Social Development program for 2006-2010. Its major directives coincide with priority national projects including healthcare, education and residential construction programs as well as with regional cultural and sports programs.
OAO Tulachermet has concluded a social partnership with the Tula administration and Tula authority to implement different social programs including care of children, orphans, veterans and handicapped people, financial support of hospitals, orphan homes, churches and museums. OAO Tulachermet is also a sponsor of infrastructural reconstruction in Tula region: it financed construction of a city stadium for school children, reconstruction of two policlinics and the other projects.
